A Female Engages In Abusive And Heavy Drinking And Finds Superb Help At An Alcohol Rehab Facility For Alcohol Withdrawal Symptoms And Alcoholism Symptoms

Beth was the mother of two children. Beth had been feeling quite stressed out lately and began to "medicate" herself by drinking three or four shots of bourbon each evening after she put her children to bed. After around three weeks of this drinking routine, she finally realized that instead of helping her unwind and deal with her difficulties, drinking made her feel less restful when she awakened. This, in turn, made her feel even more anxious all through the day.

After thinking about her situation for a few days, Beth decided to talk about her drinking problem with her best friend. In fact, about twenty minutes into their conversation, Beth's friend Courtney, told her about a very helpful and supportive doctor at the local drug and alcohol abuse treatment center. After talking to her friend, Beth without much ado got motivated to call the treatment clinic and make an appointment.

Ten days later she finally got to meet the doctor her friend had talked about. After their brief introduction, Beth told the physician that ever since her husband and she got divorced, she has been struggling financially, spiritually, and emotionally.

As Beth was talking to the doctor, she emphasized the point that she really believed that she and her ex-husband dated long enough to know each other well enough before they got married. After the children started to arrive, however, everything seemed to fall apart. What is more, both Robert and she started to drink, and their hazardous and abusive drinking adversely affected their finances, their love for one another, and their relationship.

The doctor explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her careless drinking. The doctor also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the common symptoms of alcoholism and that the most productive solution for this is alcohol rehab.

After spending three months in inpatient alcohol rehab, Beth was slowly but surely able to see that the real root of her anxiety and her depression was the fact that she had not resolved her angry feelings she has for her ex-husband who had divorced her. In a word, Beth let these feelings upset her to such an extent that she became an alcohol dependent individual.

Armed with these insights and with the medications her doctor prescribed, she eventually stopped drinking, she began to feel substantially less depressed, and she started making more time for social activities with her family and friends. What is more, a few months after receiving rehab from her doctor, she even started to date once again.

It was clear that Beth had come a long way. In point of fact, just around six months after she completed her treatment, Beth had finally laid the ghost of her former husband to rest and was beginning to feel more complete and more spiritually"alive" and psychologically "together" than she had ever felt in her life.
