We pinned some rattles and other baby toys to the blanket using diaper pins. We then showed the little outfits that my sister had purchased. For the food service table we had an arrangement of fresh-cut flowers from the neighborhood florist. She used soft pink carnations, baby's breathe and daisies for the display. We decided that no other baby shower party decorations needed to be placed on this table. We did have pink napkins that we put on this table, along with a cake that was ornamented with a stork holding a tiny doll in a pink frosting blanket. We had also ordered a corsage for our niece and 1 for each of the new grandmas to be. We felt that the room looked very nice and we wouldn't have to spend a solid deal of time cleaning up baby shower party decorations because of the fact that they would all be sent home as gifts to our niece. We had a big turn out for the baby shower. My niece got several very nice gifts. She was glad that we had the baby shower party in a space that was not cramped. As she progresses with the pregnancy she is feeling more claustrophobic. Within 30 minutes after the shower was over the fellowship section was cleaned and we were going home.
